Baked Salmon recipe

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or dill

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Prepare the marinade: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, thyme (or dill), salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if applicable.

  4. Brush the marinade evenly over the salmon fillets.

  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Thicker fillets may take a little longer.

  6. Optional: Serve with lemon slices or a side of vegetables or rice.
