🍔 Air Fryer Hamburger Patties (Fresh or Frozen)

🍽️ Servings:

4 burgers

⏱️ Total Time:

15–20 minutes
(Prep: 5 min | Cook: 10–15 min)

🧂 Ingredients:

For Fresh Patties:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 for juicier burgers)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: Worcestershire sauce, paprika, or seasoning salt

For Frozen Patties:

  • Use 4 pre-formed frozen beef patties

  • Season with salt and pepper once slightly thawed (or leave as-is if pre-seasoned)

🍳 Instructions:

Option 1: Fresh Hamburger Patties

  1. Make the Patties:

    • Mix ground beef with seasonings (don’t overmix).

    • Divide into 4 equal parts and form into ½–¾ inch thick patties.

    • Press a slight indent in the center of each patty (helps keep shape).

  2. Preheat Air Fryer:

    • Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  3. Cook Patties:

    • Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket (no stacking).

    • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

    • Cook to desired doneness:

      • Medium: ~10 min

      • Well-done: ~12 min

      • Use a meat thermometer (aim for 160°F / 71°C internal temp for safety).

  4. Add Cheese (Optional):

    • Add a slice of cheese in the last 1–2 minutes of cooking.

Option 2: Frozen Hamburger Patties

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:

    • Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Cook Frozen Patties:

    • Place frozen patties directly into the basket.

    • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 14–16 minutes, flipping halfway.

    • Check internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).

  3. Add Cheese (Optional):

    • Same as above: add near the end of cooking.

🍞 Assemble Your Burger:

Serve patties on toasted buns with your favorite toppings:

  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles

  • Cheese (cheddar, Swiss, American)

  • Ketchup, mustard, mayo, BBQ sauce, etc.

📝 Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd: Leave space between patties for air circulation.

  • No oil needed, but a quick spray helps prevent sticking.

  • Thicker patties take longer—adjust cook time accordingly.

  • Toast buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes after patties are done.
