Creamy Celery Soup

A smooth, comforting, and delicious soup that uses fresh celery.

 Ingredients

  • Celery — 4–5 stalks, chopped

  • Onion — 1 medium, chopped

  • Potato — 1 medium (optional, for thickness)

  • Garlic — 2 cloves

  • Butter or oil — 2 tbsp

  • Chicken broth or water — 3 cups

  • Salt — to taste

  • Black pepper — ½ tsp

  • Heavy cream — ¼ cup (optional but makes it richer)

  • Green onion or parsley — for garnish


🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the vegetables

  • Wash and chop the celery.

  • Chop the onion and potato.

2️⃣ Sauté

  • Heat butter or oil in a pot.

  • Add chopped onion and cook until soft.

3️⃣ Add celery

  • Add celery and potato.

  • Sauté for 3–4 minutes.

4️⃣ Add broth

  • Pour in chicken broth or water.

  • Add salt and black pepper.

  • Cover and cook for 15–20 minutes until soft.

5️⃣ Blend

  • Turn off heat and let it cool slightly.

  • Blend the soup until completely smooth.

6️⃣ Add cream

  • Pour the blended soup back into the pot.

  • Bring to a gentle simmer.

  • Add heavy cream and mix well.

  • Garnish with green onion or parsley.
